Peter Panagakos
Chief Commercial Operations Officer
 

Peter joined Paper Enterprises in 2016 as Chief Commercial Operations Officer, but he was not a stranger to the organization.  Peter was previously the Director of Procurement in 2013.  A veterans of the industry, Peter brings over 25 years of experience from other very successful companies.  His responsibilities include oversight of the marketing department, purchasing department, customer service, sales contracts and pricing and inventory control.  “I enjoy the diversity of what I do as the area of focus can change from day to day.  The opportunity to assist in the growth of sales and margin for the company whether it’s through enhanced use of our PECO Online Order entry system, the development of our Telemarketing Outreach program but mostly the synchronizing of initiatives from the “deal level” of our suppliers to the correct execution at the departmental level.  Additionally bringing organization and process to the many areas of the company in an effort to make progress such as the many moving parts of our Marketing Dept. efforts.  To see Paper Enterprises evolve and prosper in the ever changing environment that we find our distribution channel competing in. To ultimately lead the change rather than follow it.  As far as hobbies 95% of my spare time is spent in a gym either playing basketball, coaching it or watching my two sons play High School at the Freshman and Varsity level.  Married to Anne Marie a School Teacher since 1995 we reside in Bayside Queens with our two sons, Pierce age 16 and Ryan age 14.

Credit Manager

My name is Marta Aviles-Garced I have been working at Paper Enterprises for 8 years in the Credit and Collections Department.

I started as a Senior Credit Analyst 6 years ago and worked my way up to Credit and Collections manager.

As a credit manager I am accountable for existing customers and potential future customers.  I maintain a close relationship with the CFO of the Paper Enterprises Murray Pottruck, the sales force as well as all of our customers. Everyday we have challenges and as a team we are optimistic and are able to overcome all obstacles.  My colleagues and I work great together we keep a positive energy in our department. At the end of the day we are a work family.

My future goals are to continue to succeed and grow with Paper Enterprises. To be able to spend more quality time with my family especially my newest addition: My first grandchild.

I love my family, my place of worship, fashion, music, laughing, dancing, traveling when I can, being spiritual and most of all my new journey, helping and feeding women with children in homeless shelters all over the boroughs.

Staying spiritual and helping people is my passion.

Information Technology Manager
 

I am the Information Technology Manger at Paper Enterprises and have been employed since ’93. I am responsible for the day to day operation of our data network and structure.  This is a fast paced department in which boredom in not an option. Our technology is diverse and extensively laid out though out different platforms. My future goal is to continue contributing to the enhancement of the infrastructure and be a part of us becoming more efficient. I am a mother of 3 who loves interacting with my children be it shopping, ballgames, movies or just lounging around.
